Tall, blonde, and a totally hilarious comedian? Must be Dax the Shepherd of course! At 2 years old and 61 lbs, I am some sort of shepherd/husky mix with the personality of a mastiff. A total mutt for sure! I am a silly, young and energetic guy who needs lots of mental stimulation. Whether it be playing fetch in the yard or working on some interactive food toys, I am a smart boy who is easily entertained. I am pretty new to Portland and coming from a pretty rural environment in Texas, I am learning the ways of city life. But I am still a sensitive boy and would prefer an adult only (and no future kiddos) owned home in a low foot traffic area. I am a pretty pro social guy with my human friends and am definitely the class clown! I have meet some doggy friends at Pixie, so a confident adult female doggy sibling in my home would be just fine! However, places like dog parks and where there is lots of doggy traffic would be a bit too overwhelming for me, and would prefer one on one play groups instead. No kitties in my home please! Having lots of energy and being a younger pup, I could definitely learn some of the basics when it comes to training. But I am very food motivated and a fast learner, so it should be very easy! I do love going for daily walks in the  low traffic areas. And after a long day of activity, well, I am happy to join you on the couch for some maxin and relaxin.
