–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT BUDDY, PLEASE CONTACT DIANE AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Buddy came into my life in February of 2019. He was so weak that he
could barely stand. When Buddy was strong enough, I took him to my local veterinarian. He was scanned for a chip but had none. He is neutered and approximately 5-6 years old. He does need dental care because he has a few loose teeth and a lot of tarter. He prefers soft food. He is litter box trained.

Buddy would really like to be an indoor cat so he had tried to be
friends with my 5 other rescue cats by rolling on his back and being
polite but my cats just ignored him and one cat chased him out of the
house.  I do not know Buddy’s history or what brought him to my life but
I can tell that Buddy feels discouraged at being limited to the covered
patio or garage and just wants to be inside.

His favorite activity is to lay in your lap.  He likes cat nip. He is a
“man’s man” with a soft side.  I think that Buddy would do well in a
home with no children.  I do not have a dog so I cannot speak to weather
Buddy would get along with a dog. I see Buddy in a home as the only cat or a cat that would not threaten him.  He will need someone who is experienced with cats and who will have patience with him and give him time and space to adjust to a new life style.  He has been without a permanent home for a while.

Buddy is a smart beautiful cat that just wants to be inside on someone’s
lap.  He deserves another chance for a loving and patient forever home. For more information, please contact Diane at 503-702-6793.
