Tucker is a big old love bug who is looking for his forever home. He has lived with other cats successfully in the past, but he feels like he might enjoy being the only cat of the household (especially with somebody who can be home with him a lot) so that he doesn’t have to share his love, water, and litter box. He has lived successfully with another cat for the past 6 years and despite her hissing or growling at him when I first brought Tucker home and every time I bring him home from the vet, Tucker has NEVER hissed back at her. My other cat has a worsening neurological disease which makes it very difficult for her to walk, as this has progressed over the years, it seems she is unable to play with Tucker like they used to which is creating conflicts as she isn’t the cat she used to be. This is the main reason that I need to find a new home for Tucker where he can thrive and be the happiest cat he can be.
Tucker enjoys being close to his human, and once he is comfortable he may want to curl up on your lap once in a while. Tucker loves fresh water in his bowl and chatting with his human frequently, as well as bringing them some gifts! He might enjoy going outside at times so he can get a little bit of extra exercise since he is a big guy! Since he has had history of urine crystals in the past, Tucker is on a prescribed diet of urinary tract food with moderate calories to help tone his physique (since he has started the RX food he has not had any more UTI’S). He enjoys being brushed on his back (very much!), petted on his belly (or anywhere), kneading and purring on his human, and scratching on his cardboard scratcher/lounger. Give him a few scritches on the sides of his face and you will win him over instantly.
