Binx here! I’m an incredibly special and easy-going dude that is around 1-year-old. I’m a gentle guy that doesn’t have a mean bone in my body. I get along well with kids, other cats, you name it! I’m a playful guy that is also very happy being picked up and held, and will sleep in bed with you if you let me! Aside from my extraordinary personality and ability to instantly charm everyone I meet, part of what makes me special is the fact that I was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which is a developmental condition in which the cerebellum of the brain fails to develop properly in the womb. The cerebellum is the portion of the brain that controls fine motor skills, balance, and coordination. The condition is not painful or contagious and cats with CH only have a couple of restrictions… they must be indoor-only and may possibly have trouble navigating stairs. Kitties born with CH generally live long lives and learn to adapt to their condition, which means they do not regress over time — generally, they get stronger and more able as they age.
