Aloha! My name is Bud and I am a 4 year old 40 lb Black Mouth Cur mix hailing all the way from the island of Kauai. I am a sweet boy with a big heart ready to share with a family to call my own. Not much is known about my history on the island, but you will notice I kind have a funny walk. And it’s not just me trying to do the hula! The vet says it is just a neurological thing I had ever since I was a pup, and that it doesn’t cause me any pain or stress. Just makes me extra lovable and special! That being said, I probably couldn’t do a home with a lot of stairs and am more of a couch potato than avid hiker. My current foster says I do great with her other doggy and that I would be happiest with another dog sibling in my home. And I get along just fine with the foster’s kitty too! I am a sensitive boy and the city is fairly new to me, so I am looking for a chill area with a nice big yard I can mosey in. My foster says I love hanging out in the yard, sunbathing and getting all the smells in. But my favorite thing in the world is my people over 12. I always want to be around them, getting lots of treats and pets. Sometimes I will even put my head in your lap to ask for some more head scratches! I am just a sweet soul who just wants to be loved.
