Nettie here! I’m a totally social, out-going and go-with-the-flow type of girl that is around 12-years-old and ready to find my forever family. I am a super enthusiastic purr-er and will start purring when you look at me — I just love people so much! I always want to be nearby, and once we’ve become acquainted and I’m feeling really comfortable, I’ll climb into your lap for cuddles. I like to keep low to the ground and don’t get into too much, and I’m very well-behaved when it comes to my scratching pad and post, so I’m a fabulous apartment kitty and would be an awesome companion for most any person or family wanting a mellow indoor kitty. I lived with a small dog in my former home, and currently live with a small dog in my foster home, and I’m very patient with them. Since I’m older, a large, rambunctious dog might be too much for me, but otherwise I’m passive and happy to share my space. At my age, while I’m big on attention and being near my person whenever possible, I also spend a lot of time working very hard on napping and getting my rest, so someone who works full-time wouldn’t need to worry much about me being lonely while they were away. I was in fairly rough shape when I got to Pixie, but after a couple of weeks in foster I’m all healed up and I’ve had a dental done as well as blood work to show I’m currently in good health — and I’m ready to go home!
