Our loving and loyal 2 year-old cat ‘œScratchy’ needs a new home. He was rescued as an abandoned feral kitten and has never quite grown out of his wild ways. We used to live in the country and he enjoyed roaming and hunting mice. Now that we live in the suburbs he is stressed and aggressive with our neighbor’s cat, and us!

Scratchy is completely devoted to us as his family. He will follow us on walks and even takes showers with us! But this gorgeous cat is also unpredictable and will bite. His bad behavior has increased and he has bitten children and adults. Sadly, Scratchy would not be adoptable in a regular shelter and we do not want him put down.

Scratchy is a great mouser and would be well suited to life on a farm. He is probably best as an outdoor-only cat though he is currently accustomed to eating and sleeping indoors. He loves sleeping on the foot of our bed, by the fire, or in his cat bed.

Scratchy is neutered, chipped and vaccinated. He needs a cat whisperer to adopt him or a farm/country house with space to roam. Yes, you can rename him!
