I know, Coney (as in Coney Island) is beautiful. All fluffy & regal like. But she is apathetic to her groupies & will turn on a paw to show you her rump. She’s a bit tubby which makes her seem kind somehow, like a cat you can trust with your secrets. She needs to be the only pet & reside in a castle barren of bairns as their prodding fingers annoy. Each morning she’ll sit beside you as you brush & floss. Here she’ll sip from the fountain. A trait of her ancestors.
Gifts of treats will attain her love. Though she sleepith all day, she’ll rouse to vociferously welcome you home, stare at you while you make dinner, vehemently meowing when you’re doing it wrong. Chamber pot maintenance is a must as her fluffiness needs room to keep umm, hanger-on-ers at bay. She rules only her indoor kindom as she is a royal scaredy cat out of doors. She is still quite nimble for her 11 years and enjoys the usual feline games, especially if you play too. Her empress does’t care for wheeled gizmos. Surely a new lair be her best option. Ruling is hard.
