Fiona (top picture) and Maggie O’Malley (bottom pictures) are an absolutely adorable pair of 6-month-old female kittens who are looking for a quiet home where they can blossom. They both had a little bit of a rough start in life but luckily have been rescued and cared for by some awesome people with their own very cat-friendly pets who have helped them really come out of their shells and learn to be more confident, social cats! Maggie is definitely the more playful of the two, and can almost always be enticed to join a game of chase the string, even when she first meets you. Fiona is the cuddly, snuggly one who can easily be won over by gentle pets and a comfy lap to crawl into. Though they have come a long way, they are still pretty shy around new people and will definitely need a cat-savvy, patient person who will be okay with them needing time to adjust in their next home. These girls are friends but are not necessarily bonded — they could easily go to a new home as a pair, or to a home with another confident dog or cat that would be a buddy for them to connect with! It’s definitely important that they have another animal in the home to help them continue their socialization as they grow into adult kitties, since they are still a little on the shy side. They’ve been used to being entirely indoors and would make fine apartment cats. They just need a little patience, understanding, and encouragement as they blossom into full grown, beautiful and couregeous cats!
