I’m Fergus — the friendliest cat! I’m a big, chubby tabby boy around 8-years-old. I’m a very chill dude that absolutely loves attention and gets along with just about everyone. People say I’m a very handsome fellow — don’t you agree? It’s hard to walk by me without giving me a big hug! I enjoy snuggles and pets as much as the next cat, but I also am very serious about my playtime. I like to wrestle with mice and drool all over my catnip toys.  I’m pretty spry for a middle-aged man! When I see other animals around, I’m usually pretty confident and like to respectfully walk up and say hello to see if they want to be friends. I’m a little over-weight so the doctor has put me on a weight-management diet for now, but I’m in overall great health and am very zen — you can see me practicing my yoga pose! I’m perfectly content living the rest of my life as an indoor-only cat, which is good because I am FIV positive.  Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, or FIV,   just means that I will need to be an indoor-only cat and that I will need to have regular vet exams to ensure that I stay healthy and happy. Cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives just like other cats, and do not need regular medication or special food.
