Hello everyone! My name is Silas and I am a handsome 1.5 year old, 45lb Black Lab mix. Did you know my name means “Man of the forest”? Which is perfect for me because I love to be active,  go on fun hiking adventures and would be the perfect camping buddy! I have a fantastic energy about me, so I can not only be your running partner, but your snuggle buddy too. In fact, I love snuggling with you so much that, despite me size, I will try and sit on your lap, wrapping my neck around yours, giving you the ultimate doggy hug! I enjoy meeting everyone from humans of all ages, to my dog and cat buddies as well! I’m a playful boy and a rock star in my playgroups. I am even   potty trained and know how to “sit”. I wouldn’t mind learning some more tricks though! Maybe even some forest  survival skills!  At  the end of a long day of discovery on the trails, I just want to cuddle up with you next to the campfire, snacking on some s’mores and  listening to your  scary ghost stories.
