Competition is good for the soul – and good for Pixie’s bank account!  We are looking to launch a donation box campaign in various local businesses. In order to make hip businesses more inclined to put these donation boxes out on their counters we want to make them CUTE! So….we would like to put a challenge out to our wonderful Pixie family – who can design the best donation box?
The winner will not only get bragging rights and the ability his or her donation boxes all over the city but also  a Pixie Project American Apparel hoodie!

Contest guidelines:
Boxes must not be larger than 6′ tall by 6′ inches wide.  Boxes must be able to be reproduced as needed as we grow this campaign. Boxes must have a location where cash and coins can be easily deposited but also a mostly solid top so as to avoid theft. The cost for each box including labor and materials must not exceed $15.

Ok everyone – Have fun!!!!

  - THESE KITTIES ARE NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT DAVID AT EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION -

Greetings everyone!  Are you looking for a dynamic duo to meet all of your kitty needs?  Well your search stops here!  We are Taylor and Wilson, two incredibly loving cats looking for a new place to hang.  At 10 years young we both are energetic, playful and in perfect health.  Wilson has an adventurous spirit and loves to explore the great outdoors.  We are looking for a home that has safe, outdoor access so he can continue his adventures.  Taylor is more of a homebody that loves to be with her person; she makes an excellent greeter and is bound to cheer you up after a long day at work!  Both of us love bedtime snuggles and will be wonderful companions to keep you warm on the winter nights ahead.  We come fully equipped with supplies.  Sound like a great deal?  Well email David at swords.david@gmail.com for more information.

  - THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT QUIN AT EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION -

Hello, my name is Leo Lionheart I am a 3 years young, neutered indoor cat, I was rescued from some animal hoarders in California, they meant well but the situation got out of their  control. Despite this ruff start I am a happy cat. My hobbies include snuggling, bird watching, and catching flies. I love people, and attention, and food. Momma tells me she should have named me Garfield. I have lived with lots of other cats in the past, so I do not have to be the sole feline in your home. I have never met a dog before, but hey I’m brave, I was not named after the king of beasts for nothing. If you want me to be a part of your loving family give my mom, Quin, a call at 503-960-8945, or email her at quindarkmane@hotmail.com

Our re-launch party was a huge success!  A big, boisterous thank you to everyone who was able to drop by the party and make the night one to remember!

Now that the Pixie Project is officially re-opened please feel free to come by, say “hello,” and give our cattery kitties some love.  It will be a bit longer before our dogs are available, as we are waiting on some finishing touches to our kennels (can’t have them live without their salon and jacuzzi!). We will update this website as soon as we start intaking dogs again, so keep checking back.  If you are interested in fostering or volunteering, please shoot us an email at info@pixieproject.org as we are getting back on track to organizing those programs.

Our new hours are:

Tuesday-Friday: 11 am- 6 pm

Saturday: 11 am – 4 pm

Sunday and Monday: CLOSED
