Hemingway here, a 5 month old, 6lb, handsome, domestic short hair.  When I’m not out sailing the salty seas or pounding out novels on my typewriter with my six toed paws,  I’m simply lounging around a hammock in Key West. And by Key West, I mean the Pixie Project cattery.  I’m a bit of a hermit and prefer being wrapped up in blankets to socializing with the other kitties. Although, I don’t mind them being around. I just I like to do my own thing.  With patience I can be quite the cuddle bug.  Want to meet my dashing face? Fill out an application and come visit me in Key West. I come to you fixed, microchipped and vaccinated with an adoption fee of $100.

Hello world.  I’m Sopha, a beautiful, medium haired, 6 month old calico kitty.  I love lounging around in the sunshine in the Pixie Project cattery. I get along with the other kitties here, I love when kids visit me and give me lots of attention and as long as your doggie is cool with me,I’m happy to share my space.  I’m a super sweetie snuggle monster that just wants to keep your lap warm while you read a book. Do you have a space on your sofa for this Sopha? Fill out an application today and come visit me at Pixie Project. I come to you fixed, microchipped and vaccinated with an adoption fee of $100.

Two very affectionate brothers in need of a loving home. Finn and Winston are roughly three years in age and were adopted as kittens from the Cat Adoption Team. They have been inside cats their whole lives and the love people, but have never been around other animals, such as dogs. They are great around children and have never harmed our 18 month old or 7 week old. We are looking to give them to a loving home where they can get the affection they need and deserve. We do not want to see them separated because they have loved each other since birth. They are very playful but also love to cuddle and be scratched. We love them, and hate to see them go, but with 2 very young children we just have not had the time or energy to give them the love they need.

Hello world! My name is Froggy the doggy! I am sweet, sensitive young lad who is still getting the hang of this city slicker life. At just 6 months old, I am still learning about the world and I am looking for someone with lots of time and patience to really focus on my training to be the well mannered pup I am going to grow up to be! PUPPY CLASSES ARE MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION! Since I am a bit sensitive, I need to be in a home without kids or cats and would do best in a home with a lot of space or fenced in yard, so I can not only burn off some energy, but to help me get settled in.  My play style comes off a bit confusing to other pups, but I am still learning and wouldn’t mind being with another doggy pal. But boy do I love to run! I have even been training with a Pixie team member to jog right by their side and I am doing great! When I get back in from a run, I immediately pick up my teddy bear and snuggle up with it. If you are looking for a pup with good snuggling abilities and are a confident experienced dog owner that has the time to focus on my training, then fill out an application today so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $250.

IMG_9370 - Version 2

Hello – my name is Nikko, and I’m a man on a mission. I lost my home and family, and have had some tough times … but I am a resilient little guy, and determined to build a new life for myself.
I’m able to adapt quickly to new situations, and will easily fit right into your schedule and life. I am smart and independent, and know how to keep myself busy with my own thoughts and explorations. I am not demanding or needy, but if you’d like to spend some time with me, I will happily make room for you. I don’t have any bad habits, and would never dream of causing you any trouble.
I am calm and gentle, and love everyone around me, including other dogs and cats. I’d like for everyone to be gentle with me, as well, because I’m not good at defending myself. But I’m so good-natured that even if someone insults me, I forgive them instantly, and never hold a grudge.
I have a thick, shiny coat, with a gloroius white mane draping my sturdy little shoulders and gracing my neck and chest. My front legs feature a sprinkling of soft little freckles, and my upper arms sport tan-colored little t-shirt sleeves (I like to keep one rolled up a little higher than the other).
I love getting little massages, especially on my chest and head – I will lean into your fingertips and kiss your forearm to show you how much I appreciate your kindness. I have a subtle little smile, and a wonderful sense of humor that I’ll reveal to you once you get to know me.
I’m about 12 years old, and despite my age, am in very good shape. I weigh about 17 pounds. I’m crazy about going for walks, and keep up a respectable trot the whole time – and all along the way, the tips of my ears bounce up and down, and say “hello” to everything in my path.
I’m sorry to say that I don’t hear as well as I used to, so I won’t always know when you’re approaching, and may get startled. My eyes are a little cloudy, but I can still see well enough to have a normal life. Chain link fences can fool me into thinking they’re not there, and I might stumble over something now and then, but have no trouble otherwise.
I am sweet beyond imagining. I am, in a word, perfect.
The sad truth is that I was recently adopted to a new home, and although the person really loved me a lot (still does!), the dog and cat who already lived there didn’t like me, so I wasn’t able to stay.
But while I was there, all my health care needs were taken care of: I had a very thorough exam with the vet, and got some help with my teeth and an eyelid that kept scratching my eye and making it water. Now I feel much better, and have received a gold star for a sparkling-clean bill of health!
I am currently in foster care, and adoptable through Multnomah County Animal Shelter. Please contact Eva at or at503-788-6988 to learn all about me.
I am ready to meet you, and when I do, I will instantly steal your heart. You will not be able to stop yourself from taking me home with you, and then wonder how you ever lived without me.

Willie-1Yarrr mateys!  One-eyed Willie here. Technically I have 2 very gorgeous working eyes, but they are two different colors, so my nickname just kind of stuck. I’m just a big, goofy 9 year old cattle dog and farm boy.  I’m just looking for a quiet place to hang with me mateys. I love to go on walks and most importantly  play BALL!  I just love chasing after my favorite squeaker ball at Pixie. I will even bring it back and drop it at yer feet! I’m good with other dogs and cats, but I am a bit social sensitive, so I need to be in a home without kids.  Are yer ready to seek the treasure that is my heart? Then fill out an application today so we can set up a meet! I come to you fixed, micro chipped and vaccinated  with an adoption fee of $250.

Hi everyone! My name is Vince and I am an adorable Lab mix with quite the lovable face. Don’t you just love my under bite?! It goes well with my quirky fun-loving personality! I am big goofy guy who loves to play and have fun. A little bit of snuggle time doesn’t hurt either! Because I am so excitable and wiggly, I need to be in a home with kids over the age of 12 and no cats. I love to play with my doggy pals in playgroup at Pixie and would be fine with another canine companion in the home. I am a bit socially unpolished and will need some basic training. But I learn quickly and am already crate trained! Just look at that mug! You know you can’t resist. So fill out an application today, so we can meet! I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $250.
