adopted-stampSarah shepherd 2

Hi friends!!  My name is Sarah and I’m a 1 year old German Shepherd that has a real zest for life! I’m cute and goofy and, boy, do I love to play, play play!!  I’m looking for a special family that wants to devote some time and energy into me because my manners are unpolished, but it’s safe to say I’m a diamond in the rough!   Puppy classes are a must, but with my smarts I’ll be getting straight A’s in no time. I’m great with other dogs, but excited with kitties so it’s best we don’t live together.  I’m a total lover with people of all ages, but since I do need a family that can really focus on making me the best pooch ever it’s I prefer a home without small children.  What do you say? Are you looking for a once in a lifetime dog to bond with?  Check me out!

I have been transferred to Columbia County Humane Society, please give them a call for more information (503) 397-4353.

Are you looking for a studious fellow with a handsome face and a taste for mushroom soup?  Well look no further!  My name is Portobello and I’m a high-energy 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd looking for some adult friends to have high-brow and serious conversations with.  I tolerate children quite well, but to be frank I’m looking for more maturity in my life. I need a dedicated companion who wants to go to classes with me and help me soak up all there is to learn! Maybe after agility we can learn chess? Ok, I know, I need to get out a little more and make friends of my own species, maybe you can help with that too? I’m OK with other dogs (best without kitties), but could really use some help with my socialization.  I’m the middle school nerdy boy at the dance, I’m awkward now but you know with my smarts and your guidance I’m going to be the coolest adult (and start up a tech company or something).  Will you help me be my most amazing self?  I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Cash 2

Hi friends!  My name is Cash and I am just as valuable as my name implies.  I am a 4 year old Min Pin who may be small in stature (I weigh a whopping 8 lbs) but I have a BIG personality to make up for it!  I’m a little tank of an athlete that loves playtime and walking alike – I could play, play, play all day! I’m good with other dogs, but tend to like ones bigger than me (clearly I believe that I am bigger than I really am, I should have been named Napoleon!).  Kitties are fine, but I may be inclined to chase one if it ran fast (that’s called “tag” right?!). I am best in a home with older kids. Do I sound like the stud muffin you have been looking for?  Fill out an application at so we can schedule a meet and greet!  I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.  My adoption fee is $250.

adopted-stampBuddy cat 1

I mean, really?!  Look at that face!!!  Buddy is probably a shoe in for Top 5 Cutest Kittens in the World and he has the personality to match.  He is at once loving and mischievous, exactly what you expect a 3 month old kitten to be!   Being so young it is important for him to go to a home that already has another animal or to adopt two together.  He is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $135.  Feel free to visit him at the Pixie Project cattery or email us at for more information.
