Bob

-THIS DOG IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT! THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT THE INFORMATION BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Bob is one of the long-timers at the Clatsop County Animal Shelter in Warrenton, OR; he came in as a stray last fall.  This three year old pit bull adores people and we’ve had him try to squeeze himself onto our laps in his attempts to get as close as possible to the volunteers.  What has kept him at the shelter is his resource guarding.  Bob is okay with other dogs until a toy or food is involved and so will need to be an only dog.  This boy loves his walks and is always at the front of his kennel, ready to go out.  Note that he will need a fully fenced yard.

The shelter requires all members of the household to meet prospective adoptees.  We do home checks, but for those of you who live outside of the county, you’ll simply need to bring photos of your home, yard, and fence.  Adoption fees are $110.00 for dogs younger than ten years old and include micro-chipping and registration.
