-THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT! THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT KELSEY AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION-
My uncle unexpectedly passed about a year ago and we took his cat in until we found a caring home for him. Unfortunately, no one was willing to take him in after us and our other cat is having problems with Duke. Duke is used to other cats, but can misunderstand play and fight. He is quite plump, but can be very active. He is maybe 6-7 years old, we are a little unsure of the exact age. He likes to lay in bed in the morning, but prefers to sleep in a box on the floor (I figured this out when he decided to lay in a “get rid of” box, ever since I make sure there is a box with a blanket for him. Cat nip is one of his favorite things, and the bathtub. He never takes a bath, but after you shower he will climb in to drink the water. He does require fresh water, he will cry until his water bowl is full and comes running anytime he hears the faucet. He is more comfortable with single or small households/apartments, dogs tend to scare him (we have two dogs and he runs at the sight of them). If you leave a drawer or closet open, he will make it his new sleeping quarters. He is a great cat to have, and we love him very much, but we are just not the right house for him.
