-THIS DOG IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-
Hola, my name is Romeo, and I love everyone! I don’t remember much about my life before being rescued. One day I was walking around and I saw a really nice lady and I followed her around until she had to take me with her. Now I am part of the PR Animals family in Puerto Rico. They have been good to me but not successful in finding me a new home. There are not many adoptive homes in a small island. All I want is to be part of an active family, I love to run and play and I’m a great exercise partner. I weight 50 pounds and I would benefit from a family with experience with dogs that can guide me through and teach me to be a great pet! I am currently at a boarding facility but I’m lucky to go to day camp twice a week. I’ve also lived in a foster with other dogs. Oh, and I really love toys, belly rubs and I enjoy eating… a lot!
And don’t worry about the Spanish, I am a bilingual pup.
If you are interested in Romeo please write to firstname.lastname@example.org or complete the adoption form http://www.pranimals.org/#!conoce-a-los-perritos-de-pr-animals/c7zr. Romeo is up to date in his veterinary protocol, will be microchip before travel and is neutered. The long trip from Puerto Rico is done through United PetSafe and instead of a rehoming/adoption fee we ask that the new family cover his transport costs (usually around $250-300).
