Straymond

– THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT MEGAN AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION –

Hey there!  Last summer I found a stray cat living in the ivy behind my house. At first, he wouldn’t come anywhere near me – but now, he’s ready for a new home!
Straymond’s been working hard to achieve his B.F. (Bachelor of Felines) with a major in Totally Socialized Cat, and he’s ready to show off for you!
He’s conquered the following required courses: Trusting Your Human 101 and 201, Sitting in Laps 101; Purring 101; Advanced Litterbox Use; Undergraduate Seminar in the Benefits of Being Neutered (including daylong field trip to “The Clinic”); and finally the all-important Gazing Adoringly at the Human who Feeds You 101.
He is currently working on his final project in Trusting All Humans 101 so he will be ready for YOU (or someone you know) to adopt him soon! Please share this post just in case you have a friend or relative who needs an affectionate little friend – I will drive this little guy to his new home anywhere in Oregon if need be, and would even consider bringing him to Washington, California, Idaho or Nevada!
Note: Straymond is an older cat (about 8 – 10 years old) and is FIV+, so he would need to live indoors and either be the only cat in the household or live with other FIV+ cats.  Information about FIV+ cats can be found here (it’s not a death sentence!):  http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/health_information/brochure_fiv.cfm
If you or someone you know is interested in adopting this very sweet, very affectionate little guy, please contact me soon atyo_megs@yahoo.com
